VENDOR BOOTH RENTAL

Reservations are not required in order to obtain a space to sell your goods at the Flea Market. Just load up all those treasures and bring them to Gate 9 (Louisiana just north of Central) *any Saturday or Sunday morning between 7 and 11 a.m. and purchase your space ticket.

  • Cost: $20.00 (cash only) per space, per day
  • Space size: average 12’ x 25’
  • One vehicle per space, no exceptions
  • Vehicles towing a trailer must purchase a minimum of two (2) spaces ($40.00 per day). Parking staff will determine the number of spaces required on a load-by-load basis
  • Moving Vans/Large U-Haul Trucks must purchase a minimum of three (3) spaces ($60.00 per day). Parking staff will determine the number of spaces required on a load-by-load basis

 

After purchasing your space ticket(s), Parking Staff will assist you in finding a space and parking you within its defined lines. Your ticket will be marked with your space number.

 

All vendors are required to remain in their spaces with their vehicles until 2 p.m. each day.

 

NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ALLOWED FROM 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vendor spaces are available by the month or for several months in advance. The longer you lease your space, the bigger the discount you get. Inquire at the Flea Market Office any Saturday or Sunday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

 

 *Exceptions: No Flea Market during annual State Fair or the weekend of March 20-21, 2010 during FMCA RV Rally.

 PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES

The EXPO New Mexico Management reserves the authority to restrict sale of certain types of products or materials that are deemed inappropriate.  Such determinations are the sole discretion of EXPO New Mexico Management and Staff. Violation of these rules may result in a citation, fine, expulsion, and/or arrest.

 

The following items/activities are prohibited at all times at the EXPO New Mexico Flea Market:

  • Absolutely no cooking allowed in any space for any reason.
  • Vendors are prohibited from selling, giving away or distributing samples of any food, snack or beverage including but not limited to prepared or ready-to-eat foods or beverages, water, ice cream, or any items that are in direct competition with the established food vendors.
  • No selling of automobiles or motorized vehicles.
  • No selling of contact lenses.
  • No selling of products with expired dates.
  • No selling of firearms, ammunition, fireworks, or switchblade knives.
  • No games of chance, skill, raffles or gambling activities.
  • No selling outside of the defined rental space; no obstructing fire lanes.
  • No person-to-person solicitation of funds (panhandling).
  • No selling of animals or pets of any kind.
  • No alcoholic beverages shall be possessed, consumed, or sold.
  • No passing of daily or reserve vendor rented space tickets for additional vendor personnel to enter the flea market selling area is allowed. Each vehicle must purchase its own ticket. Only one vehicle allowed per space.
  • No defacing of the rented space, or any property within the State Fairgrounds.
  • No selling or displaying of any illegal merchandise.
  • No littering or dumping of refuse or abandoning items not sold.
  • No use of bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, motorized vehicles of any kind, except those used to assist mobility for impaired persons.
  • No selling of adult oriented items or any items which may be controversial or morally questionable.
  • No selling of smoking paraphernalia.
  • No person shall be allowed to stay on the flea market grounds overnight.
  • No counterfeit or pirated CDs or DVDs (music, videos, or movies) are allowed on the property.
  • No selling of air pressure pellet guns.
  • No selling of license plates.
  •  
  • Special licensing and insurance is required and copies need to be provided to Flea Market Management before you will be allowed to:
  • Sell Beef Jerky
  • Airbrush tattoos, face painting, piercing, etc.
  • Operate any amusement rides, pony rides, Bouncy inflatables, etc.
